The village of CAYE CAULKER is a quiet former fishing village with typical wooden houses and a definitely casual lifestyle. All shop, restaurants and bars are located along two uncluttered sandy lanes, the main streets of the island. There are no cars except golf carts, everything is in walking distance. Only 5 minutes from the center of town nestled in a lovely quiet spot, you'll find Barefoot Beach Belize.

Only 30ft from the ocean, this is what you call beach front. You will enjoy the sound of the sea, go swimming or snorkeling, sun on the dock, or relax under the tiki hut in a hammock. We have one of the best beaches on the island.

Caribbean Cabana

Barefoot Beach is a modern Caribbean retreat with 3 tropical rooms, 1 suite, and 2 cottages. The rooms have comfortable queen or king beds, ceiling fans, coffee makers, sitting areas, fridges, a/c, TV, and private baths with hot water. Our oceanfront suite offers a full kitchen/living room and private bedroom only steps to the sea. We also have 2 small houses, the Caribbean Cabana and Oceana Cottage. Both have kitchens, private bedrooms, futons in the living area to sleep up to 4, and private bedrooms. The cabana has a/c in the bedroom only and a nice ocean view from the side, though it is a bit more rustic with open beam ceilings, it does have windows and screens. The Oceana Cottage has a great unobstructed oceanfront view and is completely modern.
